On the Horizon

March is here!  And while I can't believe that February is already gone, there are a ton of things I am anticipating this month.

Ready?

  • The arrival of Baby Sexe (boy)

  • The arrival of Baby Graham (gender unknown)

  • The arrival of spring.  Come NOW!

  • Catherine turns 4!

  • Aselya turns 4 (six days later)!

  • Taking the kids to see Horton Hears a Who!  Care to join us?

  • A hippy themed birthday party for Aselya

  • My kids' spring break!  (Can you believe they both get the SAME week off?  I'm thrilled.)

  • EASTER!

  • If You Give a Mouse a Cookie at the Children's Theater

  • Shane and Tisha's departure to Vancouver

  • Helping to plan a bridal shower and bachelorette party

  • I know I'm forgetting something...

I'm hoping for lots of melting snow and sunshine this month!  Are you with me?  Say: YA!!!!  (And if you're Xaden, this includes fisting up and throwing your hands above your head.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I really wish that I could report that all the looming sickness has gone away.  It has not.  I honestly believed it was mostly gone when out of NOWHERE Xaden vomited his dinner into my mostly unsuspecting hands.
I shouldn't say that.  I did cup my hands under his mouth and say "Go ahead, Xaden.  Let it out."  I just didn't think about what I was really doing.  It took me a moment to keep myself from following suit and then I cleaned up the boy whilst Joel cleaned up the rest of the mess.
And then?  Cute as can be that boy behaved.  We read books.  We played his alphabet puzzle (Have I told you all how great he is at his letters?  Whoa.  I can't believe it.).  We played with his LeapPad toy.  While I read some Horton to the girls, he sat and looked and looked through some Dora and Diego books.  He did not at all appear sick.  I think it was all just a ploy.
